Day in the life, Day 5. March Madness

Yesterday I had changed Ryllar's basal and carb to insulin ratio. Guess what? He had to lows. At first without any context, my first thought was I changed it too much. After his second low and I was given more context on what the day involved though, I am confident that was not the case.
They were having March Madness at school. Which means that they were in the gym or up doing activity almost ALL day long. The first low was because he was active, standing (compared to sitting in class, yes, it makes a difference). The second was right after lunch, he was sitting but he said he's pretty sure it was because he got anxious when he was playing a game.
After I found out that he was basically going to be active ALL day. I had him put it in activity mode for the rest of the school day. I also had him carry at least 2 applesauce's and told him if he was at 85 and going down to have one. That seemed to do the trick!!!
He was high most the night last night again, but it was mostly under 250 and I was up dosing him about every 2-3 hours. I did put him in manual mode too. He is growing, I can tell just by standing next to him. Tonight, I plan to do manual mode with a maybe 20 percent increase if he is high again and try and see how that goes.
Tell next time my lovelies!
